Erste Ausgabe mit 10 Radierungen von Thomas Landseer mit Versen, die Samuel Coleridge zugeschrieben werden. Sie inspirierten ihn zu diesen phantastischen Illustrationen. Das Vorwort wurde vermutlich von Landseer verfasst. Thomas Landseer (1793-1880) war der ältere Bruder des berühmten Tiermalers Sir Edwin Landseer, zu dessen Erfolg er mit seinen druckgraphischen Arbeiten beitrug.– Sorgfältig gereinigtes, gut erhaltenes und breitrandiges Exemplar.
